Who are we?
We are Whiskers, Inc., a California 510c3 non-profit that loves CATS.
We are focused on helping all cats and keeping them out of JAIL.
Why are we at www.oasistechnology.com?
Oasis Technology was gracious enough to provide us a temporary home until we could afford a web page of our own.
What do we do?
We promote TNR (trap, neuter, return), which is where we trap outside cats, have them spayed or neutered and then return them to where they were living. This helps reduce the number of homeless cats each year because TNR prevents new homeless litters being born.
When we find friendly and adoptable cats while we are trapping, we place those cats in a foster home and then get them adopted. We find forever homes for hundreds of cats each year!
How can you help?
All you need to do is buy your favorite See’s candy through us rather than buying directly from See’s. It’s so easy! When you buy through us, we get up to 25% of the purchase price to help our cat friends.
The candy is the same price whether you buy through us or through See’s.
The only difference is that we can help cats!!!
What we have accomplished. Over the last 2 years alone, we have:
- Spayed/neutered over 500 cats.
- Provided needed medical care for 150+ cats.
- Found forever homes for 200+ cats.
- Educated community members in how they can help homeless cats.
- Obtained matching donations from large companies such as Disney, Netflix, and Bristol Myers Squibb. This required full vetting of our rescue group.
